(ATMoB:Discuss) Solar Max

Some of you may have read the review of the new IMAX film Solar Max in the
March issue of S&T. It is being shown in 20 theaters in the US, but NOT in
Boston. This is the second highly acclaimed astronomy film (the first was
Cosmic Voyage) not shown publicly at the Museum of Science. The probable
reason is that they felt that these films would not make enough money.

If the local scientific community (us) does not let the museum know that they
feel these educational films should be shown here, they will continue to pass
them by.
