(ATMoB:Discuss) Meteor Observing at the ATMoB Clubhouse LATE tonight!
If the weather continues clear through the evening, I plan on going out to the
Denis Milon Memorial Observing Field for some meteor observing tonight. If at
least one other member shows, I'll open the Clubhouse (but not the Club scope.)
One distant possibility for tonight is an outburst from the very tricky June
Bootid meteor shower. But even without that unlikely event, we should get to
watch 10 or meteors per hour after midnight...
NOTE: If I go, I will probably be showing up AFTER MIDNIGHT. (Moon set is not
until about 1am.) Also please use your best judgement: If it's not STILL clear
(and forecast clear) by around 11pm or so, then I won't be going up at all.
That said, I would *LOVE* to have some company for meteor observing, or just
general observing cameraderie. (Bring your own scope.) So definitely drop by
if you would care to enjoy some late-night dark(ish) skies with me.
As always, directions to the Clubhouse can be downloaded from the Web:

If you wish to verify that I will be going up, feel free to call my home
phone number *BY 11 PM*. If no one picks up, please leave a message.
Thanks, and I sure hope to see some of you all!
Clear skies,
Lew Gramer, 781-396-7822
