FW: Fwd: RE: (ATMoB:Discuss) how much is getting rid of mosquitoe s worth t o you?

I'm a little reluctant to assume that the clubhouse committee will or should
be responsible for any task we decide we want to put on them. They are,
after all, volunteer members just like the rest of us whose time and talents
need to be taken into account. In addition, there are already a number of
items coming down the pike - running the new observatory being the biggest -
which by default may also be left to the clubhouse committee (although that
is a topic of old business that ought to be taken up at the next exec board
meeting).

But I'm glad someone at least brought up the issue of maintence and
cleaning, I think we do need to be conscious of the life-cycle costs of the
projects we start.

I would think it would just have to become one of the regular clubhouse
maintenance items. This is already done for lots of other items such as
the composting toilet etc. Since it would only be for the summer months I
don't think it would be too bad.
