RE: (ATMoB:Discuss) Mosquito Relief - Naturally

I agree that the natural method of best control should be the starting point
for any effort to control the bugs. In any case, it's probably too late for
any effort--natural or technical--to have a positive outcome this summer.
So rather than chasing after something, we have time to perform a more
thorough analysis. It seems that the Audobon Society is a great place to
start. For one thing, I'd like to know why there aren't more birds and bats
in the area now. We all know (swat, slap, scratch) that food is plentiful.
Perhaps there's something else going on in the area that's driving down the
populations.

Since I'm relatively new to the club, I'm not sure exactly how warm our
relationship with MIT is. It would seem that we have some common interests
here. Even if ATMOB does a lot of the legwork, it might help to have
something going on under the imprimatur of MIT, especially if it concerns
interactions with the town.
