Re: (ATMoB:Discuss) how much is getting rid of mosquitoes worth to you?

Hey Guys !
You've got free room, outdoor space, and free electricity from MIT. Now you
want a bug-free, sterile environment? Start propagating bats and birds.
Seriously, $795 or whatever, is a very large sum compared to dues income.
Don't be so fast to spend
our hard-earned trust fund which, while small, took over 30 years to
accumulate. The zapper will be useless come October. Instead, contact the
Westford Boards to see if they can get some safe Bt spraying done in the
lower ponds, Firepond, and over the surrounding fields. Also, coordinate
with MIT since they should have the same health concerns for their
employees. There are a lot of horses in the vicinity.

I used to have a fisherman's netted hat with a peephole in the netting for
the eyepiece. I swear those
monster 'skeeters must have been irradiated by the antenna farm on
Millstone Hill. Hmmmmm! makings of a good scifi. Dada-dada-dada (Twilight
Zone).
