(ATMoB:Discuss) More on the bug issue
Here's some info, just for calibration. I just returned from a visit to my
parents in Western North Carolina. Everyone was complaining bitterly about
all the mosquitoes. I hardly noticed them. I think the last few trips to
Westford have raised my threshold so much that I've passed the tolerance
level of mere mortals.
On the topic of the propane-burning CO2-belching contraption under
discussion, it would really be nice to have some feedback directly from
other customers. I'd like to believe that something could work. So many
people have dedicated so many days to fixing up the place, that it's a real
pity for people to be chased away by the bugs.
I had remembered that as a kid, my mom used to give me pills to keep bugs
away. I though it might have been niacin, but my mom told me it was sulfer!
Wasn't it great what the drugstores would give you in the 1950s? I suppose
this made me smell like I'd eaten a bushel of asparagus. Tell me what
damage it did, Mario 8-).
